Easter

This week Wraparound have been learning about Easter. We have discussed Easter at circle time, and about the Easter Bunny. The children have enjoyed exploring in the sensory farm tuff spot and reading stories such as "Rabbit's don't lay eggs" and "the Golden Egg". We have been exploring numbers by feeding the Rabbit carrot sticks and sorting coloured farm animals into pots using tweezers.  The children have been exploring  letters in the shredded paper and whiteboards as well as finding coloured eggs and chicks.  Lots of craft has been created such as colouring pictures, paintings, pictures using stencils and also decorating Easter eggs using glue, glitter, coloured sticks, crystals, shapes and bingo dabbers. On Thursday we went on an Easter Egg hunt for plastic eggs, the children found the eggs by following instructions involving prepositional language, to which the Easter Bunny then turned into chocolate eggs for the children to take home!

All the staff at Wraparound hope you all have a lovely Easter break!
