This week Wraparound have been focussing on fantasies and using our imagination. Throughout the week the children have been using their imagination whilst dressing up as different characters and playing in the "under the sea" play tent. We have had a castle themed tuff spot with fictional and non fictional characters such as Knights, Princesses, Wizards, Kings and Dragons, as well as investigating pirate treasure in the water tray, which later in the week went missing!
We all went on a numbered treasure hunt and followed clues which took us on an adventure all around the school grounds. Playdough has been used to create various fantasy characters with rollers, cutters and scenery playdough mats.
Lots of craft has been created throughout the week such as Valentine's day cards, making and decorating crowns, shields and telescopes using various craft resources.
We have focussed on shape and number recognition by decorating laminated crowns, numicons and gems.
Our topic after half term will be "Healthy Lifestyle".
