This week Wraparound have been exploring the story of "Jack and the Beanstalk". Throughout the week we have been discussing how to keep safe, being sensible and following our 'Golden Rules'. The children have demonstrated fantastic acting skills whilst using stick puppets in the sensory tuff spot. We have discussed in detail how a beanstalk grows and have explored this further by using grabbers to catch the magic beans and filling measuring tubes to create different sized beanstalks. We also found the Giants treasure in the glitter tray that Jack stole! So we used dice to gather the correct amount of coins and gems and placed them back into the treasure box, ready to send back to the Giants castle. Lots of crafts have been made this week using paint, bingo pens, felt tips and other craft material to help make beautiful creations. The children also visited their new classrooms and teachers for their transition days this week. They all did great and had an amazing time exploring their new environment ready for September.
Next week we will continue exploring the story of "Jack and the Beanstalk" and recapping plants and growth.
