This week the children received a letter from Mrs and Mr Baker, explaining that they had made another gingerbread man and he was hiding somewhere in our Nursery. Throughout the week, the gingerbread man kept appearing but we were too slow to catch him. Luckily, he was captured by Mr Nicklin and sent safely back to the Bakers.
To help try and catch the gingerbread man, the children practised moving in different ways, including: running, jumping and skipping. We have been making gingerbread man in the classroom with different materials and with playdough. We have also used small world toys and scenes to retell the stories events. During our circle time, we have shared what we like most about coming to school and took turns listening to one another carefully.
