Welcome to Langdale Primary School's website. We are a two-form entry primary school in the heart of the Westlands and Clayton community in Newcastle-Under-Lyme.
We welcome children from the age of 2 in our Little Learners facility and enjoy watching them flourish and grow into unique individuals as they journey through our school, leaving us with the necessary life skills to be successful learners for life.
Our success is built upon our strong school vision that everyone in our school community is an important PART of making our school a success. Our staff, children and families show PRIDE in being a part of our school community, they show AMBITION for all, they are RESILIENT and RESPECTFUL and they work TOGETHER to achieve this.
As part of the Creative Learning Partnership Trust, we are proud to embrace their vision that children are at the centre of all that we do. Our curriculum is bespoke and is designed with our children, families and community in mind. We foster strong relationships between our school and our families and would extend a warm welcome to any prospective parents looking for a nurturing school with a strong ethos and values.

- 24 Nov 2025Just to remind everyone that this is the final week of School Council's Christmas food collection for local families in need. We will welcome all donations up to Thursday 27th. I will be taking the reps to the Kingsbridge Medical Practice during the afternoon of the 28th, to deliver all your kind donations. - 19 Nov 2025Reception have enjoyed their PE lesson this week, focusing on their under arm throwing skills. The lesson's theme was Snowfall and we pretended to be snow angels and be snowmen and pretended to sledge for our warm up. Then we used beanbags as snowballs and snowflakes and aimed them at the hoop and then cones which we pretended were snow hills!The children had a fabulous time and can't wait for their next lesson! #beproud #BeAmbitious #beresilient #together #beapartoflangdaleView This Post
