Although the classes and staff are split, we see ourselves as a Year group and therefore team teaching is a common theme!
In Year 4 we aim to strive for the best education possible for all children. Our curriculum has been designed to ensure that lessons are of high quality, fun, exciting, engaging and thought provoking. We have set and aim for high standards in all areas of school life in Year 4. We want our children to continue to grow and develop as independent and resilient learners. Our most important aim in Year 4 is that our children are given every opportunity to learn and grow in a safe, stimulating and important environment!
On Thursday 16th November, Key Stage 2 took part in Germany Day as part of our international day celebrations. We learnt about the different foods German people eat, cultures and traditions they behold as well as having a specialist German teacher visit us from Clayton High School. We learnt how to count and write numbers 1-10 in German and we even learnt how to pronounce basic colours in German too!
See how our day went below!
