What an exciting few weeks we’ve got ahead of us!
World Down Syndrome Day
Monday 21st March.
We invite the children to come to school rocking their funky socks to raise awareness and support the inclusion of individuals with down syndrome. The funkier and brighter the better. The idea behind #lotsofsocks is that our chromosome's are shaped like a sock and individuals with the syndrome have the extra chromosome. It is important that we raise awareness and understand that although we share the same chromosome structure, these individuals are extra special having an extra one.
